As International Women's Day unfolds on the global stage once again, it serves as a poignant reminder of the strides we've made and the journey that still lies ahead. For me, as both a mother of two girls and a female business leader in York, this day holds profound significance, blending personal reflections with professional aspirations and societal hopes.
First and foremost, as a mother raising daughters, International Women's Day prompts me to reflect on the world I want my girls to inherit. It's a day to instil in them the values of equality, resilience, and empowerment. I want them to grow up in a world where their gender doesn't define their opportunities or limit their aspirations.
