Exploring York!

York. A place of cobbled streets, independent local businesses, beautiful bars, food, and iconic buildings, alongside a real mix of old and brutalist architecture. If you’re a local, the main thing you may notice is the high population of fancy dogs (namely Cockapoos), and the life and enthusiasm brought by our students. The likes of which can be seen proudly parading around town on a Wednesday night in the wackiest costumes they can find.

Our new blog series aims to uncover the city’s unknown elements, whilst also appreciating its main attractions. York is a city steeped in history, culture, and natural beauty, and I'm looking forward to sharing my experiences and insights with you.

Over the next few weeks, I'll be exploring different areas of York, from the city centre to the surrounding countryside. I'll be sharing my favourite places to visit, eat, and shop, as well as tips and advice for those who are new to the city.

I'll be exploring the city's famous landmarks, such as York Minster and Clifford's Tower, as well as some of its lesser-known hidden gems.

In addition, I'll be covering a range of topics that are relevant to those who live, work, and visit York. From the best places to take your dog for a walk to the top family-friendly attractions, there will be something for everyone.

Whether you're a long-time resident of York or planning a visit in the near future, I hope that my blog will provide you with a fresh and informative perspective on this wonderful city. So, stay tuned for my first post, and let's discover all that York has to offer together!
